Moxie Java Bistro-Decatur

Well after a few weeks of hard work, we have finaly opened the doors to thew public.  Not to bad, for a soft opening.  We still have many systems to put into place, before we get really efficient.  we have already had the Mayor of Decatur dine with us for Breakfast on Saturday.  Jim Okula ffrom the Spina Bifida Association of Georgia is planning on having an event with us on Monday.  We are planing our grand opening 30 days from now, right around the time of the ING Georgia Marathon (which happens to run right in front of the store).  We are planning to open the doors early that Saturday to serve pastries, coffee and breakfast for the crowds.  So far we have had great feedback on the decor and food.  Thats all that matters.  We appreciate all of your patronage.  Keep posted for more info!!!

Over the last week, we fired our contractor and have completed more work in 4 days, than our sorry contractor completed in 5 months.  We sent out 6000 post cards to local residence and have received many walk in's and we are not even open yet!  What a great feeling.  We are praying that all of our inspections go well, on tuesday.  If all goes well, we anticipate opening our doors on Leap day!  See you then!  MJB
